EGM Takes Home a Silver ADDY

Each year, the local American Advertising Federation chapter in the Black Hills hosts the AAF Awards — a night to celebrate the talent in marketing throughout the industries represented in our area.

The call for entries opens in December, and it is a great time to reflect on all the work you were able to contribute to. This year, there were over 100 entries between students and professionals, and we are honored to have received a Silver ADDY® for the design work we did for Black Hills Knowledge Network’s economic scorecard project.

“This project was kind of out of our wheelhouse, but we found a solution – and it turned out great,” said senior designer Chris Valencia. “Working with all the data points and economic information was a challenge – making it into something interesting to read and look at. But we did it!”

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting nearly 35,000 entries every year in local AAF competitions. Although we will not be going on to the regional level with this scorecard, we applaud several local companies and agencies that will be moving forward with their work placing gold!
